Supports to help you get where you need to go safely and reliably. Under the NDIS, travel / transport assistance is provided to participants who cannot make full use of public transport due to their disability. This includes funding for transport to appointments, work, study, community activities and social participation. The support can include taxis, ride shares, specialised accessible transport or assistance from a support worker. The aim is to reduce barriers, increase access and help you maintain your independence.
